Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS
Saturday - Sunday, September 25 and 26, 2010


The Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS is a 2-day, 150 mile cycling adventure through scenic suburban and country roads winding through and around Dallas/Fort Worth.  Lone Star Ride takes place September 25 and 26, 2010, and offers the following route options:  Day 1 - 45, 75, and 105 miles; Day 2 - 45 and 75 miles.  Lone Star Ride`s goal is to raise money to fight AIDS and support those affected by HIV/AIDS.  For both riders and crew members, it`s a great way to meet new friends and have a lot of fun while supporting a serious cause.  With hilarious pit stops, an evening party and live entertainment, it`s an unforgettable experience.  The minimum fundraising goal for riders is $500; the average rider raises $1,400!  We make fundraising fun and simple; upon registration you will receive your personal fundraising page from which you can launch fundraising e-mail campaigns to yoru family, friends and co-workers.

United Way:
AIDS Outreach Center was the first AIDS Service Organization in Texas to be a member of it's local United Way. As such, United Way plays a vital role in the success of client services and programs. When asked to be a member of your United Way Campaign - say YES!  And please be sure that your donation is designated to go to AOC.

Corporate Matching Gift:
Many of Fort Worth's and Tarrant County's major employers have in place a matching gift program. This program can double the gift you make to AOC. The next time you make a donation to AOC, please check with your employer's HR department to see if they have a matching gift program and ask them to match your gift.  It's easy!  It's fast! It doubles your donation without taking more from of your wallet!


American Airlines is the Official Airline of AIDS Outreach Center:
AIDS Outreach Center encourages all it's family and friends to fly with American Airlines. When you make reservations please add AOC's Business ExtrAA number to your reservation. This simple addition will cost you nothing but it will allow American Airlines to track friends of AOC utilizing AA reservations. This information allows American Airlines to support AOC through local and regional sponsorships and with AA merchandise.

Grocery Store Savings Cards:
Pick up a Kroger Share Card from your local Kroger store, or we will gladly mail you one. This card is used in conjunction with your Kroger Plus Card.

Tom Thumb also provides customers with an opportunity to give to AOC. Just give them AOC's non-profit organization number #8380.

AOC is in constant need of donated food items and individual hygiene items for our clients that shop the AOC Nutrition Center. Whether supported through a donation or planned gift, all AOC programs are made possible through the generosity and commitment of people like you. A planned gift to AIDS Outreach Center helps ensure the success of services and programs we provide the community.
