Sunday, April 6th was a beautiful spring day and an even better day for the AIDS Walk Tarrant County. With a goal of raising $100,000 for vital client programs and services, thousands gathered at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center for a leisurely walk through Fort Worth`s beautiful Arts District and Botanic Gardens. And all for a GREAT cause - the fight against HIV/AIDS in Tarrant County.

Now in our fourth year, AOC is excited to partner, once again, with Jubilee Theatre through this collaboration of live theatre and public education to bring awareness of HIV/AIDS issues in Tarrant County`s Black and Latin communities.

This fun evening starts off with a wine and hors d’oeuvre reception followed by some of the best live theatre in the southwest. All proceeds from this event goes to directly benefit the clients and programs of AIDS Outreach Center.

The Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS is a 2-day, 150+ mile bike-ride between Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas that raises money for AIDS Outreach Center of Greater Tarrant County and two other local AIDS Service Organizations (ASO), increases awareness about HIV/AIDS and educates the public about HIV and AIDS issues.

Over the last six years, more than $1.4M has been raised with 100% of all money directly benefiting the three local beneficiaries.
