Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS
Saturday - Sunday, September 25 and 26, 2010


The Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS is a 2-day, 150 mile cycling adventure through scenic suburban and country roads winding through and around Dallas/Fort Worth.  Lone Star Ride takes place September 25 and 26, 2010, and offers the following route options:  Day 1 - 45, 75, and 105 miles; Day 2 - 45 and 75 miles.  Lone Star Ride`s goal is to raise money to fight AIDS and support those affected by HIV/AIDS.  For both riders and crew members, it`s a great way to meet new friends and have a lot of fun while supporting a serious cause.  With hilarious pit stops, an evening party and live entertainment, it`s an unforgettable experience.  The minimum fundraising goal for riders is $500; the average rider raises $1,400!  We make fundraising fun and simple; upon registration you will receive your personal fundraising page from which you can launch fundraising e-mail campaigns to yoru family, friends and co-workers.

AIDS OUTREACH CENTER`S 25TH ANNIVERSARY
Annual Artists Against AIDS
October 1, 2010 through October 23, 2010


Honorary Co-Chairs for this year event are Senator Wendy Davis and Councilman Joel Burns.  

Event co-chairs are Cynthia Hodgkins and Sarah Garrett.  Cynthia has worked as the co-chair for Artists Against AIDS for the past several years and as Juror for Fort Worth`s Main Street Arts Festival and Member of the Fort Worth Garden Club, the Woman`s Club of Fort Worth and a supporter of Jubilee Theatre and Amphibian Productions.

Sarah Garrett is the owner for Artful Hand, a functional art gallery located on 7th Avenue in Fort Worth and has serviced as the product designed at Houston Harvest Gift Productions, Simon Marketing and Stiffel Lamp.

Featured guest artists are Henritta Milan, local find artist and owner of Milan Galleries and Eric Stevens another well known fine artist from the Fort Worth area.

Tickets are $75 each, includ parking for only those who reserve and purchase their tickets prior to October 15, 2010.
