Make A Difference

Event Sponsorship

AOC encourages your partnership in helping sponsor one or more of our great annual special events. This is a great way for a company or Corporation to show it's support of our mission to the greater community. Please contact the AOC Development & Marketing Department at 817-335-1994, ext. 224 for additional information on events and sponsorship levels.

Gifts In-Kind

AOC is in constant need of donated food items and individual hygiene items for our clients that shop the AOC Nutrition Center. Holiday gift items and gift wrap materials are always welcome during the holiday season. If you, your company or organization need further information, please contact the AOC Development & Marketing Department at 817-335-1994, ext. 256 for additional information.

Planned Giving

Whether supported through a donation or planned gift, all AOC programs are made possible through the generosity and commitment of people like you. A planned gift to AIDS Outreach Center helps ensure the success of services and programs we provide the community. Planned gifts to AOC can be arranged through the services of your estate planning professional in the form of a will, trust, or even simply designating AOC as the beneficiary for your life insurance policy, 401k, and other accounts.

Volunteer

Volunteer Orientation Process

AOC hosts a Lunch & Learn orientation the fourth Friday of the month for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at AOC. The program is divided into two segments that run an hour each. The first hour covers a brief history of AOC, the programs and services currently offered to those living with HIV/AIDS, and the opportunities that exist for volunteering in each department.

The second hour is optional to those who wish to continue on with the volunteer process. This is where we conduct a face-to-face interview for anyone who meets the organization’s volunteer needs. Any individual that is chosen to move forward in the volunteer process will then fill out the volunteer application and be required to submit $10 that covers the cost of their background check.

Please keep in mind that volunteer process takes some time and anyone needing to fulfill community service hours immediately may need to seek out volunteer opportunities at another agency. If you would like to RSVP for Lunch & Learn, please click the Lunch & Learn to submit your information.
