A BIG "THANK YOU" TO EVERYONE PARTICIPATING IN THE 16TH ANNUAL AIDS WALK TARRANT COUNTY
Sunday, April 6th was a beautiful spring day and an even better day for the AIDS Walk Tarrant County. With a goal of raising $100,000 for vital client programs and services, thousands gathered at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center for a leisurely walk through Fort Worth's beautiful Arts District and Botanic Gardens. And all for a GREAT cause - the fight against HIV/AIDS in Tarrant County. Thank you to everyone who participated - individual walkers, walk teams, volunteers, vendors and, of course, our valuable event sponsors! Your help will allow AIDS Outreach Center to fund vital outreach, HIV prevention, and AIDS educational programs for the community and offer basic support to the men, women, and children we serve with HIV/AIDS.
If you missed the Walk and would like to donate you can still go to www.firstgiving.com/aocwalk and make a tax deductible gift. Or if you have not yet delivered all your donations and fund-raising pledges contact our Special Events Manager at 817/335-1994, ext. 224. She will be glad to help!
