AOC is conveniently located at 400 North Beach Street between IH-30 and Highway 121. You can also find us at different sites throughout the month. “The T” bus route #14 stops in front of AOC’s location.
AOC serves Tarrant and the surrounding counties, so come on in and get tested! A variety of condoms (brands, sizes and styles) and lube are also available free. ¡Hablamos español!

HIV & Syphilis
Confidential HIV Rapid and HIV Early Detection Antibody Test and a Syphilis Test: FREE.
This free screening includes the following: (1) Rapid HIV antibody test (detects HIV after 90 days), (2) HIV early detection test (detects HIV after 21 days) and (3) a syphilis test. Rapid HIV test results are available in just minutes. Results for the HIV early detection and syphilis tests are available in 7-10 business days. These tests require a blood draw.
Chlamydia & Gonorrhea
Chlamydia & Gonorrhea Urine Test: $30
This screening is a simple urine test. Please do not urinate for 2 hours before a urine sample is collected. Results for the test return in 7-10 business days.
Note: AOC does NOT offer oral-based (mouth swab) HIV tests. Confidential testing collects your name and contact information which is protected by state and federal privacy laws. When available, anonymous testing is offered but only for the human immunodeficiency virus test.

All individuals seeking services from AOC will meet with a Case Manager to determine their eligibility and receive referrals to internal and external programs.
Before your first appointment, be sure to carefully read the “Documentation Requirements” link below to learn what personal information you will need to bring with you. Also, the “New Client Forms” form is available to be printed and filled out before your appointment, if you have access to a printer. If you are unable to print them out before your first appointment, please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes early in order to fill these out in the office.
The Patient Navigator program provides assistance to newly diagnosed individuals needing guidance and support through an often traumatic situation and burdensome healthcare system.
Prevention/Testing and Outreach
Provides blood draw testing for HIV & Syphilis each week day at AOC and at community events. Risk Reduction Specialists counsel individuals on their level of risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections and connects those who test positive to support and medical services.
Sandy Lanier Nutrition Center and Nutritional Counseling
The only food bank of its kind in Tarrant County providing seven meals per week to people living with HIV/AIDS, along with a Registered Dietician who counsels clients on how proper nutrition can positively influence their health outcomes and how nutrition can help minimize many of the side effects from powerful anti-retroviral medications.

Geisel-Morris Dental Clinic
Provides an array of oral health services to HIV-positive individuals who are uninsured and aims to prevent oral health issues before they become life-threatening.

Mental Health Services
Provides individual, couples, and family counseling by a licensed counselor and operates various support groups for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Children are our society’s must vulnerable population and AOC is dedicated to providing support to children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. A school supply drive each fall, a holiday gift drive before the holidays, and an annual summer camp are how AOC provides support to children from impoverished families battling HIV/AIDS.

Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
An HIV information group in Spanish
