Volunteer Opportunities


Librarian - Arlington Office 

Part-time: 10-16 hrs/week.
Maintain the library, process books, check library materials in and out. Act as a "staff researcher" for directors, counselors and staff researching funds/grants, information on starting new groups, etc. Organize agency photo archives into albums.
Ideal volunteer position for a retired librarian or teacher.

Nutrition Center 

Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12pm-6pm. Duties include receiving food deliveries, stocking shelves, assisting clients with shopping and check-out.

Special Events 

The help of volunteers is always needed in staging special events. If you or your group see a special event advertised on our website and would like to help, please call 817-335-1994, ext. 224. Our special event coordinator will be happy to talk with you about your participation.
